Vada (Partin) Owens

Vada Owens, 82 of Indianapolis passed away December 16, 2017.  She was born September 29, 1935 in Big Nickel, TN.  She was preceded in death by her husband, George Owens, and grandson, Norman Lee Parrish Jr.

She is survived by her sons, Earl Wayne (Wendy) Owens, Donnie Lee Owens; daughters, Mary Gale (Joseph) Day, Pamela Ann Mullins, Sandra Bea (Norman, Sr.) Parrish;  sisters, Beatrice Thompson, Sandy Chapman, Bootsie Davis; brothers, Eugene Partin, Granville Partin, Carl Partin; 24 grandchildren, 78 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Services for Vada are 10am Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the Usher Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held at 1pm Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Marion National Cemetery in Marion, Indiana.  Friends may call from 4-8pm Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the Usher Funeral Home.
