While we were growing up, Slavie was the "cool" uncle! He will be missed and remembered with love.

MEMORY ETERNAL FOR THE SOUL OF OUR NEWLY DEPARTED SERVANT IN CHRIST, SLAVIE (STEVE) LALIOFF

From the Orthodox Funeral Service

"O God of all spirits and flesh, Who has trampled down death - destroying the power of the devil and bestowing life onto Your world - do You, Yourself, grant rest to the soul of Your departed servant, Slavie, in a place of light, green pasture and refreshment - a place from where all pain, sorrow and sadness have fled away. Forgive every sin committed by him in thought, word or deed as our good and loving God, considering that there is no one who shall live and remain sinless. For You alone are without sin. Your righteousness is everlasting righteousness and Your law is truth. For You, O Christ our God, are the Resurrection, the Life and the Repose of Your departed servant Slavie and to You do we send up glory, as to Your eternal Father and Your all-holy, good, and life-creating Spirit, both now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen."

Please accept my sincere sympathy at the passing of Slavie. I just learned of it
today, Thursday, September, 2016.

While representing his brother, Carl, I had several very nice conversations with Slavie and he was a great gentleman. I am very sorry for your loss.

Sincerely,

Ed. Kelly
