Joseph P. "Joey" Mahoney, Jr.

   Joseph P. "Joey" Mahoney, Jr., 26 of Indianapolis passed away March 18, 2016.  He was born July 13, 1989 in Indianapolis to Joseph P. Sr. and Diana (Johns) Mahoney who survive.  He is also survived by his brothers, Gregory Johns and Lucas Johns; aunts and uncles, Kathy and Bob Kloeker, Jim and Shelly Mahoney, Karen and Jerry Miller, George and Jeanne Johns, Debbie and Lance Roth; nieces and nephews, Kayla, Sophia, Gabby, Liam, Matt, Mark and Christian. He was also survived by his dog Rascal.  Joey was a graduate of St. Michael’s School and Cathedral High School.  He was employed as a Pest Technician at Gold Seal Pest Control.  Joey was an avid sports fan and will be sorely missed by his friends and family. 

   Funeral services are 10:30am Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at St. Michael Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.  Friends may call from 4-8pm Tuesday at the Usher Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Slovenian National Home or to the St. Vincent Stress Center.  The Mahoney family would like to thank the staff of IU Health-Methodist Hospital ICU for all of the loving care given to Joey.  Online condolences may be offered at usherfuneralhome.com
