Evelyn Trena Golder

   Evelyn Trena Workman Golder, 74 of Greencastle, formerly of Indianapolis passed away July 27, 2016.  She was born November 9, 1941 in Indianapolis where she spent most of her adult life.  She had worked for BHT and the Speedway Motel Flag Room.  She later retired from Polygram Records.  Evelyn was preceded in death by her spouse, Wayne Golder; mother, Elizabeth Mendenhall; son, Ronny Workman and brother, John Dees.  Survivors include her children, Thea (Mark) Keesee, Dorothy (Mark) Austin, Donny (Doreen) Workman, Misty (Timmy) Scruggs; 19 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and several step grandchildren.  Evelyn always welcomed her nieces, nephews and her children’s friends to stay with her for as long as they wished.  She was like a second mom to many of them.

   Services for Evelyn are 12:30pm Monday, August 1, 2016 at the Usher Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery in Greencastle, Indiana.  Friends may call from 9am until the time of services on Monday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be offered at usherfuneralhome.com
