Zelmer B. LaFavers, 86 of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. He was born on Thursday, May 23, 1935 in Jabez, Russell County Kentucky to Ethard E. and Bertha Marie (Smith) LaFavers.

Zelmar loved his family and enjoyed all the time he was able to spend with them. He had a passion for working on cars, he built his own company Z&L Auto.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ethard E. and Bertha Marie (Smith) LaFavers, brother Truman LaFavers, sisters Barbara Christene LaFavers, Janice Johnson.

He is survived by loving wife Julie Ann (Staronka) LaFavers, 3 sons Gregory Zelmer (wife Kacie) LaFavers, Christopher James LaFavers, Stephen Thomas LaFavers, 3 daughters Eva Marie Cissy LaFavers, Holly Ann LaFavers, Ashley Lynn LaFavers, brothers Edward LaFavers, Delmer LaFavers, Denzil LaFavers, sisters Mildred Oakes, Eva Flynn, Fern Burton, Mary Owens, Darlene Brown, 13 grandchildren, and extended family and friends.
