Willie D (Bud) Cook

Bud was born to the late Clara A Fishburn and Willie A Cook in Indianapolis on July 4, 1958. He was a 1976 graduate of George Washington High School and a lifelong Indianapolis resident who loved being surrounded by his family and friends. Bud was an avid fisherman and motorcycle rider who enjoyed the outdoors, traveling and a good cigar. He worked in the optical business for 30 years and retired from Hubler Chevrolet. Bud is preceded in death by his parents, brother Ronnie and sisters Beverly and Shirley. Survivors include: dog Thelma, sisters Charlotte (Lawrence) Davis, Martha Delane Cook-Kemp and brother Paul J. Cook; Nieces Nikki, Rhonda, Amber and Kelly; Nephews A.J. and David. And 10 great-nephews 

Funeral services are 7pm Friday, July 7, 2023 at the Usher Funeral Home.  Visitation is from 4pm-7pm Friday, July 7, 2023 at the Usher Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be offered at usherfuneralhome.com
