Wayne David Miller

Wayne David Miller, 86 of Indianapolis passed away December 23, 2024 at his home.  He was born April 13, 1938 in Plainfield, IN to Bernard and Ruth Miller who have preceded him in death.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Ann Miller and his son, Daniel Miller.   Wayne was an installer in the telephone industry.  He had worked for 34 years for Indiana Bell/AT&T and then 20 years for General Communications Inc.    Wayne was a 1956 graduate of Plainfield High School.  He was a long time member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.  Wayne served his country in the US Navy where he served in the Seabees.   Wayne was an avid euchre player, taking part in games several days a week.  He is survived by his sons, Bernard Paul Miller and David Wayne (Cindy) Miller.  

A Memorial Mass for Wayne will be held on 1pm Thursday, January 16, 2025 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 377 N. Warman Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46222.  Usher Funeral Home is handling arrangements.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Wayne's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to the Wheeler Mission.
