Vidalina Mata de Muñoz, de 84 años, Venezolana, falleció en Indianápolis el 31 de octubre de 2021. Nació el 29 de abril de 1937 de Pablo Mata y Ángela Martínez de Mata.
Su nieta Valentina Muñoz Villa escribió esta hermosa despedida:

¿Cómo te despides de alguien que no quieres que se vaya?
¿Cómo imaginas una vida sin alguien a quien quieres mucho?
Estas son las preguntas que más me he hecho, pero he llegado a la conclusión de que nunca dejaré de verte porque siempre estarás en cada playa, en cada conchita de mar, en cada flor, en cada momento, en cada paso. Cuando pienso que te veré y te imaginaré en cada sitio, entiendo que nunca viviré sin ti, porque tu siempre estarás conmigo, cómo siempre lo has estado.
Solo que ahora estarás conmigo de otra forma, transformada, y feliz, porque además estarás con tu esposo y muchos de tus seres amados.
Lo que más quería con mi vida era ir a visitarte luego de 5 años sin vernos físicamente, pero ahora entiendo que en este nuevo viaje que emprendiste tu me visitarás a mi siempre con mi viejo pepe

Gracias por ser la mejor abuela, la que hacía las mejores empanadas, el cazón más rico, las caraotas con azúcar y queso más ricas, el mondongo los días del padre, la más risueña y bochinchera, la que se toma la cerveza como un teterito para el calor, y un wiker o un ron para el resfriado o la tensión, la que siempre está lista para ir a la playa y para un brindis, siempre dispuesta pero sobretodo glamurosa y elegante, con tu cartera, tu cepillo y tu pintura de labios. Cuántos recuerdos nos dejas, cuantos momentos de alegría, y ahora con mucha tristeza, sólo me queda recordarte con mucha felicidad por lo que fuiste para todos:

La primera mujer operadora de radio de Venezuela, la famosísima Sra Muñoz del transporte, la mamá de todos, la creadora del club de la empanada, la famosa Chander, la abuela...
Gracias totales, Pura Vidalina Mata de Muñoz, te amamos para siempre! Nos encontráremos en la siguiente estación

She is missed by all who knew and loved her.

Vidalina Mata de Munoz, 84 y/o Venezuelan, died in Indianapolis October 31, 2021.  She was born on April 29, 1937 to Pablo Mata and Angela Martinez de Mata.

Her Granddaughter Valentina Munoz Villa wrote this heartfelt farewell:

How do you say goodbye to someone you don't want to leave?
How do you imagine a life without someone you love very much?
These are the questions that I have asked myself the most, but I have come to the conclusion that I will never stop seeing you because you will always be on every beach, in every seashell, in every flower, in every moment, in every step. When I think that I will see you and imagine you in every place, I understand that I will never live without you, because you will always be with me, as you have always been.
Only now you will be with me in another way, transformed, and happy, because you will also be with your husband and many of your loved ones.

What I wanted most with my life was to go visit you after 5 years without seeing us physically, but now I understand that in this new journey that you undertook, you will always visit me with my old Pepe

Thank you for being the best grandmother, the one who made the best empanadas, the richest cazon, the richest beans with sugar and cheese, the mondongo on father's days, the most smiling and fun, the one who drinks beer like a baby bottle for the heat, and a wiker or a rum for the cold or stress, the one that is always ready to go to the beach and for a toast, always available but above all, glamorous and elegant, with your purse, your brush and your lipstick. How many memories you leave us, how many moments of joy, and now with great sadness, I can only remember you with great happiness for what you were for everyone:

The first woman that operated radio in Venezuela, the famous School Bus Driver Mrs. Muñoz, everyone's mother, the creator of the empanada club, the famous Chander, the grandmother...
