Vera loved adventure and took on all challenges life handed her. She opened her heart and her home to anyone or any animal in need. She loved her family and her animals and would care for them no matter the sacrifice. She had her strong military side, but also a soft, feminine and creative side. She was an incredible cook and the family enjoyed many holidays she would host. She loved her flower gardens, crafting and antique collecting. She was an Aunt to many and a second mom to some. Always offering guidance when needed.
Our lives will never feel complete without her, but we take comfort in knowing she is no longer in pain and is at peace.
