Sr. Mary Timothy Harrison, L.S.P.

Sr. Mary Timothy Harrison, L.S.P. 83 of Indianapolis passed away on January 27, 2025 at St. Augustine Home for the Aged.  She was born January 6, 1942 in Detroit, MI to Milford John and Ella Mary (Langlois) Harrison, who have preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her older sibling, Sister Laetitia du Coeur Immaculé who was also a Little Sister of the Poor.

Sr Mary Timothy was the 11th of 13 children and is survived by younger sister, Janet Leach. She has a great many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. 

During her 49 years of religious life, Sr Mary Timothy cared for the elderly in the Homes of the Little Sisters of the Poor that included Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Mobile, Oregon (Toledo, OH), Denver and at St Augustine Home, Indianapolis on two different occasions.  Her sense of humor was only exceeded by her warm hearted spirit of gratitude toward all who touched her life.

A funeral mass for Sr. Mary Timothy will be celebrated at 10:30am Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at St. Augustine Home for the Aged, 2345 W. 86th Street, Indianapolis,  IN 46260.  Burial will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.  Visitation is from 2:30pm - 8:00 pm Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at St. Augustine Home for the Aged.
