Saul Montez

Saul Montez 65, of Martinsville, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024 at home. Saul was born on June 17, 1959 in McAllen, Texas to Macario G. Montez and Maria (Morales) Montez.

Saul enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. When he was not at home tending to his garden, working on a DIY project, or entertaining friends and family, he loved to go camping and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary (Estelle) Montez, his first wife Teresa (Mulryan) Montez, his father Macario G. Montez, his brother Jose “Joe” Montez, his sons William “Bill” Montez and Juan “Johnny” Montez and his grandsons Saul and Santana (Montez) Pringle.

He is survived by his sons Gilbert Montez, Macario “Mike” Montez, Thomas “Tom” Montez, Josh Kidwell; daughters Chandra (Montez) Pringle, Miranda “Randi” (Montez) Munoz, Sarah Sparks; grandsons Rayon Pringle, Malachie Pringle, Quinton Montez, Antonio Munoz, Justin Munoz, Luke Kidwell, Walker “Peanut” Kidwell; granddaughters Sianna Pringle, Tayllor (Montez) Willhite, Mackenzie Montez, Mya Montez, Ava Montez, Skye Kidwell; great grandson Sylas Pringle; great granddaughters Koa Willhite and Maeven Pringle; brother Macario “Bo” Montez; sisters Perla (Montez) Wooden, Blanca (Montez) Hurt, Maria “Olga” Montez, Ermelinda “Nini” (Montez) Bendler, Christina “Christy” Montez.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 19 from 10 AM - 1:30 PM at Usher Funeral Home, 2313 W Washington St., Indianapolis. The memorial service will begin at 1:30 PM followed by a non-procession burial at Floral Park Cemetery.
