Robert Frank Hixon

Robert Frank Hixon, 83 of Indianapolis passed away on October 10, 2025.  He was born October 2, 1942 in Little Rock, Arkansas.  Robert was retired from Omnisource where he worked as a crane operator.  He also had worked for KNF and Borenstein.  Mr. Hixon was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Hixon; parents, Clyde Hixon and Irene Browers; son, Ricky Hixon; brothers, Keith and Cecil Hixon; sisters, Patsy Ellis and Johnnie Hall.  He is survived by his son, Robert Lee Hixon, Sr.; sister, Sue Burchfield; grandchildren, Randy Hixon, Robert HIxon, Jr., Heather Hixon, Ricky Hixon, Jr., R.C Hixon, and Ciera Hixon, along with many great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services for Mr. Hixon are 1pm Thursday, October 16, 2025 at the Usher Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Washington Park North Cemetery.  Visitation is from 4pm-8pm Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at the Usher Funeral Home.
