He was preceded in death by his parents: Paul Rice and Opal Louise (Flater) Ray, late wife Ruby Lee (McNary) Rice, they were married for 51 years.
He is survived by his Son John Paul Rice, Laura Louise (husband Jeff) Ivey, 2 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren, other siblings, and extended family and friend.
