Paul E. Albrecht, 85 of Plainfield passed away September 18, 2024 at Life’s Journey Hospice of Avon. Paul was preceded in death by his wife; Carolyn Janet (Herr) Albrecht, parents; Louis Francis & Bessie F. (Stark) Albrecht, brothers; Louis J. Albrecht, George A. Albrecht, brothers in law; Steve Farris, Jack Short, sisters in law; Marilyn Jeanine Albrecht, Mary Jo Herr, Anthonette Rose Herr. He graduated from Sacred Heart Central High School in 1957. Paul owned and operated Paul’s Trailer Service, Inc. since 1978. Before that he had worked for Tony’s Trailer Service, Inc. He also worked as a Pipe Fitter and was a 35-year member of the Pipe Fitters Local 440. Paul was a member of St. Susanna Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Holy Family Council 3682. He was a Lifetime member of the Indiana Forestry and Woodland Owners Association. He was a member of the Solo Senior Group from the Archdiocese of Indianapolis Catholic Center. He is survived by his sons; Mark A. Albrecht, Paul L. Albrecht, and Douglas M. (Jill) Albrecht, grandchildren; Bryan D. (Lindsey) Albrecht, Nichole L. Albrecht, Noah I. Albrecht, great granddaughter, Snow E. Albrecht, girlfriend; Kathy Humphrey, brothers in law; Steve A. Herr (Mary Jo Carrico), Greg Yust, sisters in law; Judy Yust, Laura Mae Albrecht. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at St. Susanna Catholic Church at 12 Noon. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Usher Funeral Home and from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the Church.
