Patty Jean Hamby, 64 of Indianapolis passed away Friday, May 9, 2025. She was born on Sunday, August 14, 1960 to Benjamin Franklin and Judith Adele (Roney) Hamby in Hammond, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her father Benjamin Franklin Hamby, brother Benny Hamby, sister Linda Sue Hamby.

She is survived by her daughter Heather Hamby, 2 granddaughters Jamie Sullivan, Michelle Sullivan, 5 great grandchildren, mother Judith Adele Hamby, brother Joe (Wife Kara) Hamby, and extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held 11 AM to 2:30 PM, Friday, May 16, 2025, at Usher Funeral Home, 2313 W Washington St., and service will be at 2:30 PM at Usher Funeral Home, followed by burial at Floral Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered at usherfuneralhome.com
