Minnie Kansas Brandenburg passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 19th, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on February 7th, 1946, in Knightstown, Indiana, Minnie was a resident of Indianapolis, IN, where she spent the majority of her life.
Minnie is survived by her sons, Lafayette Roe, William Brandenburg, Jr., Dewayne Sanders, James Brandenburg, and Jason Brandenburg; her daughters, Dinah Miller and Lora Brandenburg; her brothers, Dennis Woolbright and Rick Woolbright; and her sisters, Connie Kayler and Beverley Casteel. She was a proud grandmother to 14 grandchildren and was blessed with many great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Violet Woolbright.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at Usher Funeral Home in Indianapolis, IN, on Friday, March 27th, 2026, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at the same location, where we will celebrate Minnie's life and the love she shared with all who knew her.
