Margaret Ann (Friend) Miles

Margaret Ann (Friend) Miles, 77 of Indianapolis, passed away November 28, 2023 at Franciscan Hospital in Indianapolis.  She was born May 1, 1946 to Charles and Mary Friend who have preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Miles and her brother,  John Friend.  Together with her husband Jim, she owned and operated Airline Taxi Company in Indianapolis.  Margaret was a longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Corinthian Chapter #456 where she was a past Worthy Matron.  She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jim Miles; daughters, Patty (Bennie) Simmons, Sue Miles, Missy Jones; sister, Doris Swoven; 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Miles are 1pm Monday, December 4, 2023 at the Usher Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Floral Park Cemetery.  Visitation is from 11am-1pm Monday, December 4, 2023 at the Usher Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be offered at usherfuneralhome.com
