Lisa Reese Obituary

Lisa Rene Reese

Lisa was born Oct 3, 1969 to the late Donald C. Tyler and Anita F. Munn.

Lisa attended I.P.S., Brebeuf Jesuit Prep and Purdue University graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Leadership & Management.

Lisa gave her life to Christ during her early teen years at Eastern Star Church.

Lisa’s work career included an Engineering Internship during her 1st (2) years at Purdue University. Upon graduation, Lisa pursued a career in retail management while working alongside her then husband Joe Reese for several years. Following the birth of their daughter, Lisa assisted with management of the daycare which her daughter attended. Lisa’s ambition during high school had been to own and operate a daycare with her mom. Lisa was pursuing a career in banking when she met her soulmate & companion Keith Yount. Together they enjoyed working in his printing business, gardening & canning, bike riding, entertaining friends and taking trips.

Lisa was challenged with a strong-hold spiritual illness for many years which resulted in her untimely death. Lisa is most remembered for her charming ways, witty humor, and her uncanny ability to see both sides of any dispute before arriving at an amicable solution. Lisa will be sorely missed by all who knew her but we are comforted in knowing that she is in heaven dancing with the angels.

Lisa is survived by her daughter Mikala Reese, step dad Keith Yount, mother Anita Munn, aunts: Glenda Duke, Sheila Thompson, Rosemary Munn; uncles: Bernard Munn, Richard Munn & Ronald Munn; a host of cousins and best friends Daviene Neptune & Susan Koch. Predeceased father Donald Tyler & sister Tasha Ann Bailey

We do not need a special day to bring you to our minds. The days we do not think of you are very hard to find. Each morning when we wake, we know that you are gone. And no one knows the heartache as we try to carry on. Our hearts still ache with sadness and secret tears still flow. What it meant to lose you no one will ever know. Our thoughts are always with you, your place no one can fill. There will always be heartache and often silent tears. But always a precious memory of the days when you were here. If tears would make a staircase and heartaches make a lane. We would walk the path to heaven and bring you home again. We hold you close within our hearts and there you will remain. To walk with us throughout our lives until we meet again.
