Jeannie (Schmidt) Tolin

Jeannie Tolin, 75 of Indianapolis passed away February 16, 2023 at her daughters home.  Jeannie was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelly Rohr; grandson, Joseph Rich; parents, Ned and Grace Schmidt; brother, Henry Schmidt; sisters, Cecilia Schmidt, Marty Ford, Barbara Lovell.  Jeannie was a longtime manager for Long's Bakery.  Previous to that she worked as a waitress at the Workingman's Friend Tavern. She loved casino visits, especially playing the slot machines.  She is survived by her husband, Frank "Buddy" Tolin; daughters, Tammy Rohr and Kim Wentworth; grandchildren, Jerry (Anita) Suter, Jr, Krystal Hutson, Bobbi Jean Mustard, Kalie Wentworth, Morgan Wentworth; great grandchild, Gracyn Kay Foster along with many nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering for Jeannie will be held from 2pm-4pm Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the Workingman's Friend Tavern, 234 N. Belmont Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46222.
