Jack L Edwards

Jack L. Edwards passed away on August 25,  2025 at Community East Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana after a brief illness.  Jack was a generous soul with a heart of gold. He loved deeply and gave freely, always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. A devoted brother, father, husband, uncle, friend and companion. Jack’s warm spirit and infectious kindness touched the lives of many, and he will be dearly missed by all. Jack worked for many years with Southworth Ford in Marion where he happily retired. 

Jack is survived by his daughter Lora Bales (Charlene) along with grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a few dear friends/family that meant the world to him.  Jack was preceded in death by Beatrice(Bea) Mother and Marion(Mac) Father Edwards, his brothers Phil, Bob, Rick along with his sister Judy.  Jack was also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 23 years Jacqueline that passed in 2015. As well as his beloved husband Tom that passed in 2023 along with his beloved dog Molly. 

We will have an informal celebration of life on 2 separate occasions. The first is on September 20th, 2025 at 1pm at River Side Cemetery in Gas City, Indiana. at Jackie’s gravesite.  Second celebration of life to bring my dad back to Tom will be determined very soon and will be held in Indianapolis.
