Gregory Phillip Long

Gregory Phillip Long, 74 of Indianapolis passed away December 7, 2023.  He was born May 6, 1949 in Indianapolis to Robert W. and Loretta H. (Schmitt) Long who have preceded him in death.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Long and brothers, Robert, Richard, Nicholas and Vincent Long.  Greg was a member of St. Susanna Catholic Church and served his county in the United States Army.  He is survived by his sons, Jeff and Jake; brothers, William W. Long, Thomas J. Long, Lawrence Charles Long, and Scott Matthew Long; sisters, Mary Ann Masner, Elise Hopson and Connie Gregory.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.  Visitation is from 5pm-7pm Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at the Usher Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be offered at usherfuneralhome.com
