Evelyn Louise (Ralston) Crouch

Evelyn Louise Crouch, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Thursday, November 20th, 2025, at the age of 90. Evelyn was born on January 26th, 1935, in Nashville, Indiana, to the late William Lionel Ralston Sr. and Hazel Marie Ralston.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Glenn R. Crouch Sr., and her son Danny Crouch. She also joins her father, mother, and son-in-law, James Wood, in eternal rest.

A graduate of Arsenal Tech High School, Evelyn pursued a career in data entry, contributing her talents to the Indiana State Police, L.S. Ayres, and Kelly Services. 

Evelyn found joy in sewing, enjoyed picnics, and was known among friends and family as an excellent cook.

Evelyn is survived by her devoted children: Karen Wood, William A. Crouch, Juanita (Jan) Land, Julia (Leonard) Jones, Glenn (Marti) Crouch Jr., and Virginia (Rob) McMurtray. She is also remembered lovingly by her daughter-in-law, Bonnie Pencil, as well as her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Usher Funeral Home in Indianapolis, IN, on Tuesday, November 25th, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at Vernon Cemetery in Vernon, IN, at 1:00 pm.
