Darla Jean Jensen

Darla Jean Jensen, 61, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026. Darla was born on Thursday, September 3rd, 1964, in Indianapolis, Indiana to her parents, Raymond Dale Wesley and Sharon Rose Cottingim (Engle).

Darla was an active member of the community, participating in the Moose Lodge in Beech Grove, the American Legion Post 500 in Speedway, and the VFW Post 908. Her love for playing cards was only surpassed by her love for her grandchildren, Alexander and Ryker, who brought immense joy to her life.

Darla is survived by her husband, Gerald Scott Jensen, her son, Brian Jensen, and his wife, Barbie. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Alexander and Ryker Jensen, and her sister, Amy Marlowe. Darla was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Dale Wesley and Sharon Rose Cottongim, her brother, Jeff Engle, and her sister, Rhonda Wright.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at Usher Funeral Home in Indianapolis, IN, on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana, at 2:30 pm.
