Barbara G. Carpenter

Barbara G Carpenter 65 years old passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 1:12 PM surrounded by her children. She worked as a waitress, as well as having a business that she helped run with her husband but the Biggest job that she had in her life was being a mother. Barbara was a mother and a homemaker. She was a very selfless giving women and she did everything she could to help her family whenever they were in need 

She was proceeded in death by her beloved husband, Herbert Carpenter, her parents, James Eubert Holt, and Mother Mildred Hayes (Holt) and brother James Holt as well as sisters, Brenda Burner, Carol Pennington, and Patricia Owens.

Barbara is survived by her Daughter’s Hayley, Arney Carpenter and Sarah Carpenter, sons David Weaver, and Scotty Weaver Dylan Fredrick, Son-in-law’s Cody, Arney, and Kenny Dennis and grandchildren, Ariella Harrison, Kenneth Dennis, Coltston Granger Scotty Weaver ll Chloe Weaver, Xavier Carpenter, and Rune Carpenter Great grandchildren Bentley Weaver and Ivy Carpenter 

Services will be held at Usher Funeral Home, 2313 W Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46222. Visitation will be Friday, January 16, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am with entombment to follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
