William Joseph "Bill" Summers, 66 of Indianapolis passed away March 12, 2023 at his home.  He was born February 23, 1957 in Franklin, Indiana to Francis and Beaulah Summers who have preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his step son, Allen Sutton.  Bill was a truck driver for many years in the Indianapolis area.  He served in the Indiana National Guard.  Bill was a member of Tabernacle of Faith Church.  He was an evangelist and gospel singer.  He loved sharing the gospel through words and music.  Bill is survived by his wife, Claudine Mae Summers; sons, Will (Ashley) Summers, Chad Summers; daughter, Lamiyah Summers; step son: Jay Sutton; brother, Harold (Sue) Summers; sisters, Terri (Nelson) Jones, Sheila (Wilbur) Cook; grandchildren, Emery and Jackson Summers, step grandchildren, Tyler, Michael, Deven, Jaylen, Mariah Sutton

Funeral services for Bill will be held at 5pm on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Tabernacle of Faith Church, 2830 S. Holt Road, Indianapolis, IN 46241.  Visitation is from 2pm-5pm Thusday at the church.  Online condolences may be offered at usherfuneralhome.com
