Steve J. Takacs, 87 of Indianapolis, passed from this world on Monday, September 27, 2021. He was born on Wednesday, September 5, 1934 to Steve and Barbara (Semco) Takacs in Indianapolis, IN.

Steve retired from Allision Transmission. He was an Army Veteran. He was a member at American Legion Post 64. He was very involved as a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. He was an avid golfer, very involved with Indiana Senior Golf Association.

He was preceded in death by parents, to Steve and Barbara (Semco) Takacs, brother Edwin Takacs,

He is survived by his brother Louis (Christina) Takacs, and other extended family and friends.

A funeral mass for Steve will be celebrated at 11am Friday, October 1, 2021 at St. Anthony Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered at usherfuneralhome.com
