Sharon T. Pettigrew, 73 of Indianapolis passed away October 13, 2019.  She was born July 5, 1946 in Indianapolis to Andrew John and Ada Marie Romer who have preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Austin, Jr.  and her daughter, Christina Marie Moran.  Sharon had worked as a leasing agent for Troy Manor Apartments, and for Cloverleaf Apartments.  She had also worked for American Trucking and for Neese Printing in Brownsburg.  She is survived by her sons, Andrew J. Brummitt, Clinton D. Pettigrew, William J. Pettigrew, Jr.; sister, Donna Grant; brother, Danny Romer; 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Services for Sharon are 7pm Thursday, October 17, 2019 at the Usher Funeral Home.  Friends may call from 4pm until the time of services on Thursday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  Online condolences may be offered at usherfuneralhome.com
