Roy Dean Moneymaker, 71 of Indianapolis died on May 17, 2026.  He was born on October 21, 1954 in Indianapolis to Fred Franklin Sr and Beulah Mae (Keys) Moneymaker who have preceded him in death.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Cathie Moneymaker; step son, Chad Howard and brother, Ted Moneymaker.  Roy was retired from United Technologies where he worked as as a machine operator.  He loved restoring and collecting cars and motorcycles.    Roy is survived by his brothers, Fred (Rhonda) Moneymaker, Sr. and Archie Moneymaker; sisters, Peggy (Dan) Scotten, Barbara Moneymaker and many nieces and nephews.

Per Roy's request he will be cremated and laid to rest with his wife Cathie at West Ridge Park Cemetery.  A Celebration of Roy's Life is scheduled for Sunday, July 12, 2026 from 2pm-5pm at the Avon American Legion Post 145, 4812 E Main St, Avon, IN 46123.
