Robert Dodson, 63, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on January 17, 2021. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on July 14, 1957 to Violet Mae (Waddle) Dodson and Cecil Green Dodson. Robert is remembered as being a hardworking man who worked as a scrapper for many years and a "jack-of-all-trades."

Robert is survived by his longtime companion Regina Scruggs, sisters Brenda (Clyde) Lynn, Glenda (Donald) Majors, Carolyn Dodson, Janet (Lance) Leeman, children Kimmie (Nick) McLaughlin, Robert Dodson, Jr., Amber (Derrick) Rodgers, Bobby Dodson, and Jacob Dodson, grandchildren Taylor Johnson, Christian Johnson, Marcus Rodenbaugh, Victoria Rodenbaugh, Tori Johnson, Hayden McLaughlin, Jacob Dodson, Jr., Clayton Dodson, and Trenton Dodson, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Robert is preceded in death by his parents and brothers David Lee and Ronald Eugene.
