Paulette Carpenter Lacefield, 87 of Indianapolis died August 10, 2020.  She was born February 04, 1933 in Middlesboro, Kentucky to Wiley and Margaret (Simpson) Carpenter who have preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Zane Lacefield and her grandson, Brian Zavala.  Paulette loved her family and enjoyed tending to her flower gardens.  She is survived by her daughter, Sabrina (Refugio) Medina; brother, Jack Carpenter; sisters, Patsy Turner, Patricia Duncan; grandson, Fabian (Aesha) Zavala; grandchildren, Jacob, Jasmine, Gabby, Adauntea and Diante;  many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Paulette are 1pm Friday, August 14, 2020 at the Usher Funeral Home.  Entombment will follow in Lincoln Memory Gardens.  Friends may call on the family from 11amuntil the time of services on Friday at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be offered at usherfuneralhome.com
