Patricia "Patti" Halcarz Witczak

Patricia "Patti" Halcarz Witczak, 70 of indianapolis passed away on July 20, 2026 at her home.  Patti was born March 9, 1956 in Gary, Indiana to Frank and Patricia (Davis) Halcarz who have preceded her in death.  Patti was a gradute of Indiana University where she received her B.S. in Physical Therapy and her M.S. degree in Physical Education.  She was a licensed physical therapist in the State of Indiana. She received certifications in her field as a brain injury specialist and as a senior weight trainer.  She had spent the last 20 years working as a Physical Therapist in the Indiana University Health System.  Previous to that she had also worked for St. Luke Hospital in Denver, Colorado and for St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis.  Patti was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church.  She volunteered with the St. Vincent DePaul Society and enjoyed photography, her dogs and spending time outdoors.

Patti is survived by her husband, Greg Witczak; daughters, Madison Witczak and Larissa Witczak and her loving dog Sweetie.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Friday, July 24, 2026 at St. Monica Catholic Church.  Visitation is on Thursday, July 23, 2026 from 5pm-8pm at the Usher Funeral Home and from 10am-11am on Friday, July 24, 2026 at St. Monica Catholic Church.  Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society or masses may be offered in Patti's memory.
