Monica Marie (Carpenter) Carr, 82 of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2021. She was born on Tuesday, May 23, 1939 to Charles Harold Carpenter and Juanita (Jennings) Carpenter in Indianapolis.

She was a faithful life member of the VFW #908 Ladies Auxiliary and served as president for 5 years. She retired from Indiana University Methodist Hospital where she worked as a cook.

She was preceded in death by her husband Max Carr, parents, Charles Harold and Juanita (Jennings) Carpenter, daughter Katherine Warren, 2 brothers Charles Carpenter and Thomas Carpenter.

Monica is survived by her son Ronnie Warren, Charles Gray, daughter Susan Carr, brother Michael Carpenter, sister Marilyn Carpenter Ripley, granddaughter Ronni Jo Warren, and other extended family and friends.

She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Calling will be held at Usher Funeral home on Friday, Oct 22, 2021 from 12 pm to 3 pm, VFW Ladies Auxiliary service at 2 pm, service at 3 pm, burial following service at Floral Park. (Not going in procession – we will meet at the cemetery following the service)
