Milton Earl Simmons, Jr. passed away on July 6, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.  He is survived by his wife, Thelma Bush Simmons, son Kenneth Earl Simmons (Patricia), and daughter Debra Culley (Lonnie).  He is also survived by grandchildren, Andrew Ball, Hannah Ball, Breighton Ball, Erik Culley, Angelia Simmons and Dakota Simmons; by stepgrandchildren Jaime Sabo, Richard Suber and Greg Culley; and 16 Great Grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by 2 Great Grandchildren.

Mr. Simmons retired from GM Truck and Bus plant where he was a UAW electrician. He served in the US Army where his assignment involved coordinating celebrity entertainment in US bases in Germany, an opportunity that he valued the rest of his life.  He was a long time Republican Poll Worker in west side voting places.

Friends and relatives may call on the family on Thursday, July 29 from 3 PM until 5 PM.  A funeral service is scheduled for 5 PM.  Private entombment will take place at Lincoln Memory Gardens.
