Michael Joe "Rudy" Garner, 49 of Indianapolis passed away December 30, 2018.  He was born February 6, 1969 in Indianapolis.  He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Gunderson and his uncle, Donald "Gundo" Gunderson.  Michael worked for many years as a cook at the West Washington Street McDonalds.  He was an avid sports fan and he owned an array of team jersey's.  He enjoyed watching NASCAR and IU Sports and his favorite teams were the Phillies and the Redskins.

Survivors include his mother, Sandy Garner; daughter, Alisha Murphy; brother, Dennis Lee Garner along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services are 4pm Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Usher Funeral Home.  Friends may call from 12-4pm Saturday at the funeral home.
