Melanie Shaye Branham, 54 of Indianapolis passed away April 19, 2020.  She was born August 9, 1965 in Anderson, Indiana.  She was preceded in death, father, Samuel Branham and her son, William Aaron Ray Willett and step father, Robert "Bob" Petro.  Melanie liked tattoos and music.  She loved her family and lived life on her own terms.  Survivors include her son, Jacob Thomas Woodcock; mother, Dorrissie "Dorsey" Petro; sisters, Celli Dugger, Samika Swift; brother, Shayne Branham; step mother, Kathy Branham.

Funeral services are private.  Melanie will be laid to rest in West Ridge Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.  Memorial contributions may be made to Dove Recovery House for Women. 3351 N. Meridian Street, Suite 110, Indianapolis, IN 46208.
