Mary Ruth "Rufus" Conover, 69 years old, passed away on October 20th, 2020. She was born on November 11, 1950 to Jesse James Blankenship and Ruby Blankenship in Indianapolis, Indiana. Rufus loved listening to Alan Jackson, watching soap operas, eating Werther's candy, she loved to cook, loved going to garage sales with her children, and loved flowers, plants, and animals, especially her two dogs, Daisy and Molly.

She is preceded in death by a number of siblings, loved one Herman Hardin, and Tina Baker. She is survived by six sisters, one brother, her children LeeAnn Flake, Angela Timm, Jason Mason, James Conover, Jeannie Flores, Michelle Najera, and Aftan Blankenship, along with many grandchildren & greatgrandchildren.

On Saturday, October 24th, 2020 at the Usher Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until 2:30 P.M friends and family are welcome for visitation.
