The Goodwill store lost a loyal customer on December 29, 2021. Marguerite Lavonne May, died peacefully with her children by her side. She was many things including a self-taught pianist/organist, a trained ballroom dancer, and above all, a loving mom who provided years of entertainment, even while battling Alzheimer's. Born and raised in Indianapolis, this westside beauty bled purple and white. She was avid fan of the Washington Continentals, Pacers, Colts and Indy500. Some of her favorite sports stars were John Sherman Williams, Tiger Woods, Peyton Manning, AJ Foyt and her secret love interest, Mario Andretti.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dude and Ed; son, Kyle; brother Eddie; sister Patty; granddaughter, Chelsea; nephews Don and Chuck, son-in-law Randy and all her dogs.

She is survived by daughters, Natalie, Jan(Thomas) and Susan; son, Brian; granddaughter Lucia; grandsons, Mason, Andrew, Zachary and Sebastian; niece Marilyn, nephews Darrel and John; sister in law Linda and her ex, Albert.

Due to the COVID pandemic, a celebration of Marguerite's wonderful and storied life will take place late winter/spring 2022.
