Margaret Joan "Peggy" Walsh passed away January 25, 2024.  She was the daughter of the late Patrick and Marguerite (Burns) Walsh.  Peggy was born in Indianapolis on November 15, 1931.  She graduated from Brownsburg High School, attended Marian College and was an LPN for many years before retiring from the Roudebush VA Hospital in 2001.  Peggy was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church and a former member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.  She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.

In keeping with her strong Catholic faith, she volunteered within her community and beyond including St Christopher's annual summer festival, sewing items for children at Riley Hospital and a mission to Cuba.

Peggy is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Korte of Fort Wayne, In and Jeanette Schelli of Indianapolis, IN, ten nieces and nephews, thirteen great nieces and great nephews and one great-great-niece. All of whom she loved dearly.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12pm Friday, February 2, 2004 at St. Christopher Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.  Visitation is from 10am-12pm Friday, February 2, 2024 at St. Christopher Church.  Online condolences may be offered at usherfuneralhome.com.
