Joan Wright, 85 of Indianapolis died December 16, 2020.  She was born March 13, 1935 in Vevay, Indiana to Chester and Isabell Griffith, who have preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her son, Barry Scott; spouse, John Wright; brothers, Charles Edward and James Chester Griffith; sisters, Marilyn Riley, LaVerne Self.  She was a seamstress at US Shoe Factory in Vevay, Indiana. Survivors include his brother, Eugene (Nancy) Griffith; sisters, Alberta Waren, Carolyn Wolf, Louise Smith, Lucille Shoemaker; brother in law, Kay Riley; grandchildren, Mark (Brandi) Scott, Eric (Lisa) Scott, Robin Scott (fiancee, Nick Thomas) Barry Scott, Jr.; great grandchildren, Austin, Rylan, Colton, Kaylee Scott, Alexander Thomas.
