Jeffrey Charles Miles, age 60 of Indianapolis died on Tuesday, December 10, 2019. Mr. Miles was a graduate of George Washington High School and Ivy Technical College. He also attended Purdue University. He served as a master sergeant in the US Army, worked at Engledow and Saint Vincent's Hospital in various positions as an EMT, landscaper, and interpreter, and was most recently employed at an auto auction. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Marianna Laubscher-Miles, his brother, Stephen Michael Miles, and his parents, Charles and Velma Miles. He is survived by his siblings, Randy Miles and Tammy Miles, his maternal aunt, Judy Conrad, a nephew, Randy and 2 nieces, Tina and Lisa, and a host of cousins. Mr. Miles was a member of the West Park Christian Church, a member of the Civil Air Patrol where he earned a pilot's license, and a volunteer with the Wayne Township Fire Department and a local animal shelter. He enjoyed flying, cycling, politics, gardening, and camping. Memorial services are 3pm, Thursday, December 19, 2019 at the Usher Funeral Home.
