October 9, 1958 - June 15, 2022 James "Jimmy" Lee Connelly, 63 of Pittsboro, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. He was born on October 9, 1958 to James and Ernestine (Elrod) Connelly in Madison County, Indiana, and spent most of his life raising his children in Anderson, Indiana, while working at and later owning Music Today.

Jimmy was a true romantic, with a great sense of humor and could make any stranger a friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ernestine Kimball and Jim and Lillian Connelly, brother Patrick Connelly, and niece Adia Salyer.

He is survived by son Joe Connelly, daughters Carolyn (Paul Derek) Golabowski, Alexis (Jameson) Elbert and grandchildren Karlee, JJ, Maddie, Collins, and Remy. His brothers Stephen Connelly, Robert Connelly, Charles Connelly, sisters Elizabeth Rayford, Pamela Stires, Amber Connelly-Sturgeon, and Amanda Kimball, with many nieces and nephews, in-laws, extended family members, and a special love that he cared for deeply. He will be missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends on Thursday, June 30th from 5pm - 8pm at the Millcreek Civic Center in the Fireside Room, 403 W Main St, Chesterfield, IN 46017.
