Inez Patterson, born Inez Williams, passed away on September 28, 2026, in Indianapolis, Indiana, at the age of 97. She was born on December 8, 1928, in Doddsville, Mississippi.

Mrs. Patterson devoted her life to her family as a homemaker in her own home. Through her daily care, steady presence, and devotion, she created a place of comfort and love for those around her. She was also a member of the Church of God & Christ, and her faith was an important part of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Patterson, and by her brothers Andrew, Otha, Clifton, Cleveland, and Tommy.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Ella Mae Coleman, Willie Mae Smith, Isaac Patterson, Willie Lee Patterson, Cleola Patterson, Rutha Patterson, Lee Etta Williams, Leo Patterson ,Samuel Patterson, Gregory Patterson, and Earlene Milon. She is also survived by her sister, Leatry Williams. Her children and family will carry forward the memory of her love, care, and enduring presence in their lives.

Visitation will be held on October 9, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Usher Funeral Home, 2313 West Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46222. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Usher Funeral Home. Burial will be at Concordia Cemetery.

Inez Patterson will be remembered with love and gratitude by all who knew her. Her life was one of family, faith, and devotion, and her memory will remain a lasting blessing.
