Gary Lee Collins, 70, passed away on June 30, 2026. He was born on April 16, 1956, to his parents Catherine Smith Collins and John B. Collins.

Gary is survived by his siblings, Cathy Smith of Bloomington, IN, Dawn Banning of Louisville, IL, and John Collins of Nashville, IN; grandchildren, Benjamin and Alex Petersen; and numous cousins, nieces, nephews, all of whom he adored.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John B. Collins and Catherine Smith Collins, daughter, Joanie Lee Petersen, and his twin, Debi Van Wyngarden.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
