Erma L. Hawes, 79 of Indianapolis passed away November 20, 2019.  She was born August 5, 1940 in Salem, Indiana to Ervin and Violet Sturdevant who have preceded her in death.  Erma is survived by her sons, Larry, Gary, Berry and Terry Hawes; daughter, Sherry Murell; sister, Bonnie Samples; brothers, Charles, Don, Paul and Leif Sturdevant; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Graveside services are 2:30pm Friday, November 29, 2019 at Floral Park Cemetery.  Visitation is from 1pm-2pm Friday, November 29, 2019 at the Usher Funeral Home.
