David L. "Marty" Martin, 62 of Indianapolis, passed away August 3, 2015.  David was preceded in death by his father, Roy Martin and his brother, Robert E. Martin.  He was retired from General Motors where he had worked as a Machinist.   David enjoyed bowling, woodworking, and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne E. Martin; daughters, Tammy (Dave) Skirvin, Angela (Toby) DeWitt; mother, Bonnie Martin; sister, Shannon Wiggins; brothers, Rick Martin, Rodney Martin; grandchildren, Ashley Marroquin, Heather Skirvin, Robert B. Martin, Christopher Tharp, Jessica Marlett, Corey DeWitt; 5 great grandchildren.   Services for David are 11am Friday, August 7, 2015 at the Usher Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in West Newton Cemetery.  Friends may call from 4-8pm on Thursday at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be offered at usherfuneralhome.com
