Cecil Earl Hixon, 69 of Indianapolis passed away May 12, 2019 at his home.  He was born June 21, 1949 to Clyde and Irene Hixon, who have preceded him in death.  He was also preceded in death by his grandchildren, Delilah and Olivia Hixon, and his sister, Patsy Ellis.  Survivors include his wife, Anita Garrett; sons, Tracey Hixon, Robert (Dawnna) Hixon; step children, Andrea Grapko, James Garrett; sisters, Faye Hall, Sue Babe Burchfield; brothers, Robert and Keith Hixon; grandchildren, Reilly and Remington Hixon along with many other extended family members and friends.

Services for Cecil are 1pm Thursday, May 16, 2019 at the Usher Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Floral Park Cemetery.  Friends may call on the family from 4-8pm Wednesday at the funeral home and from 11am until the time of services on Thursday at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be offered at usherfuneralhome.com
