Betty J. Casmire, 86 of Indianapolis died August 4, 2022.  She was born December 27, 1935 in Hilham, TN to Arthur Boles and Juanita (Short) Merrill who have preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Robbie Temples; sisters, Lora Ann Stone, Dorothy Vandiver, Frances Boles; brother in law, Dennis Vandiver and niece Shirley Ihnen.  Betty was retired from Western Electric.  She is survived by her daughter, Bobbie Shepherd; foster son, Charles Ault; sister, Marie Clark; brother, Charles Boles; grandchildren, Viki Hamblen, Tommi (Frank) Miller, Christine Hill, Richard (Tara) Stone, Kerri Jane; great grandchildren, Shaye, Blake, Noah, Connor, Jackson, and Brady; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Betty are 7pm Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at the Usher Funeral Home.  Visitation for Betty is from 5pm until the time of services on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at the Usher Funeral Home.  Burial is in Turkeytown Cemetery, Hilham, Tennessee.  Online condolences may be offered at usherfuneralhome.com
