Bernice A. "Bea Ann" Sears, 72, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on July 1st, 2020. Bea was born to Walter and Georgia Gill (Johnson) on December 3rd, 1947 in Indianapolis. She retired from Allison Transmission where she worked as a burr cutter. She and her late husband Ron founded Heart Changing Ministries in Avon and she was a former board member of the Hawthorne Community Center. Bea was instrumental in the rebuilding of the center following a fire.

Bea is preceded in death by her husband Ronald E. Sears and is survived by her son, Ronald (Jennifer) Sears, grandchildren Presley and Clellia Sears, Kaden Meador, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on July 6th for the public from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Usher Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on July 7th beginning at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home, with a graveside service to follow at Floral Park Cemetery. We graciously suggest that friends, family, and other visitors wear masks upon entering the funeral home.
