William "Bill" Childers

William Childers “Bill”, age 57, of Bright, IN, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018 in his home. He was born on February 8, 1960 to John P. and Catherine (nee Holloran) Childers. He has 3 children whom he loved very much. He was a sales manager at HHGregg for 41 years until they closed. His employees loved him just as much as he loved to work. Bills personality and sense of humor was larger than life, he was known for being funny and also being a man of his word. Bill never gave up and always accomplished what he put his mind to. He accepted no self-pity. He was also a big fan of the Cincinnati Reds. 

Bill will be missed by his loving children: Emily, Hannah, and Matthew Childers; Dear parents: John and Catherine Childers; Caring brothers: John (Carla), Joseph (Karen), and Edward Childers: the mother of their children: Suzanne Childers; grandchild, Elijah Childers and many nieces of nephews. 

Visitation will be Monday, February 5, 2018, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Usher Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will take place in St. Anthony Catholic Church  at 10:00 on Tuesday, February 6, 2017.  Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Anthony’s Youth Ministry.
