Shirley Ann Cook

Shirley A. Cook, 56 of Indianapolis passed away February 1, 2017.  She was born January 13, 1961 in Indianapolis to Willie A. and Clara (Fishburn) Cook who have preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Cook.  She had worked as a bus driver for Indianapolis Public Schools for 13 years.  Following that she worked in various warehouses in the Indianapolis area.  

She is survived by her sisters, Charlotte (Lawrence) Davis, Delane (Fred) Cook-Kemp, Beverly Cook; brothers, Willie "Bud" Cook, Paul "Jeff" Cook; nieces and nephews, Nikki (Kirt) Randolph, Rhonda (Jerry) Sappington, A.J. Davis, Amber (Adam) Capps, Kelly Cook, David (Logan) Cook; 10 great nephews, 1 great niece and life friend Mark Gann.

Services are Noon Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the Usher Funeral Home.  Entombment will follow in Floral Park Mausoleum Chapel.  Friends may call from 5-8 pm Friday at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be offered at usherfuneralhome.com

Shirley truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, surrounded by countless friends and family.  She touched many people with her generosity.
